The Organisation Success story is achieved through small Success stories of the Individuals working for the Organisation in a synchronised manner not the Net worth.
I was told in my early days almost two decades back what Supervisors work in Automobile Assembly lines where robots work but Leaders are required for dealing with Humans. As Leaders, Our Job is to bring the best out of our People without any Biasness…While saying this I am clearing myself that all of us would have our favourites but that should be on performance not on anyone’s whims and fancies…But system should be based on Meritocracy not Mediocracy!
Once ,We get an employee on board, We should consider him/her like a Seed and Organisation as the land. Every seed has the potential to grow into full grown tree with fruits in a fertile land (Immediate leader…will not say supervisor)with proper Sunlight(Knowledge Imparted and Training),Water(Close monitoring by the leader to make sure the Knowledge along with skillsets is put to work),Manure(RNR ) and with proper dose of Fertilizer(Quality Checks).
Once the Seed turns into Small Healthy Plant, We Need to ensure that we guard them against any domestic animal(Competition).When we see this seed is growing into right direction ,we need to make sure Pruning(Constructive Feedback for growth in the right direction) takes place in a congenial environment.
When all these processes are right, we not only build Team but also create leaders. This is the right time to identify talent and bring the Seed , Now a Full grown tree with fruits to the mainstream with IJPs.
THE MERE JOY TO SEE A SEED INTO FULL GROWN TREE WITH FRUITS (OUR LEADERS) IS A SUCCESS STORY NOT ONLY OF THE INDIVIDUAL BUT OF THE ORGANISATION.
Now the Leader need to work with the ethics of a Doctor…That every patient is beyond caste ,creed ,religion, sex etc and go on a mission with passion.
SELF LEARNING AND INDIVIDUAL TRANSFORMATION WITH REGARDS TO KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT WILL TAKE THIS LEADER AHEAD THAN HIS PEERS IN THE SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST.
A true leader leaves behind a legacy of leaders and the success of a leader should be gauged by the fact that how many leaders they have build in their careers.
